Introduction
Would you like to eliminate frustration from your life? Then just remember this Spiritual truth:
According to Spiritual Law, every choice that you have ever made, every seemingly chance meeting, random experience and even mistakes that you think you have made, were not mistakes at all, not a coincidence, chance or random, but for a grand purpose, that only your Higher Self, Spirit Guides, angels and God really knows.
This perception, that everything that happens is perfect, if you take it on as a practice, will change your life from Day 1.
You came into this world guided by Spirit, and you came here of your own Free Will. So, it’s up to you to make the absolute best of your time here on earth!
Chapter 1:
The Ego
The ego is the THING that fights, resists, and wants to control everything.
The spiritual path is about letting go of attachment, and the ego is the main thing that we attach to, and what attaches us to our judgments, criticism, and negative emotions. Our version of our Selves in this lifetime, who we believe ourselves to be, is one of the first things we must release on this path of enlightenment.
According to Spiritual teaching. People on our planet today have lived thousands of lifetimes. We’ve had every color skin and every amount of coin. We sorted it out, and evolved to our present state. Each lifetime, we keep growing, learning, and remembering.
If we all received this training and were taught through higher vibration how to get along, communicate and support one another; then instead of operating out of the lower frequencies of greed, hatred, and violence in our civilization today, we’d be operating, as we have in times long past, at the higher frequencies of love, trust and peace.
Again, it always comes back to Free Will and the Right Use of Will. You get to choose what you focus your attention on, how you feel, and the choices you make along the way. As you move forward on your path of personal and spiritual evolution that you, your Higher-Self and a loving Universe have set forth for you in this lifetime, your main tools are what you focus your attention on, and how you choose to feel.
Exercise 1
Gratitude Meditation
Get very comfortable wherever you are. Take a deep breath, and feel gratitude for the air in your lungs. It’s a gift. Without it, you’d be dead in minutes. Smile and breathe into it. Feel your surroundings. Feel the safety and comfort available for you only in the Present Moment. Feel how good you feel, right now. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and say, think, or feel… Thank YOU! Express gratitude. You have manifested this energy. (If you haven’t yet meditated today, turn on your timer for 20 minutes now, and meditate for 20 minutes. Then come back to the next paragraph)
YOUR vision for your life, the one you have had in the past, has brought you to this moment in your life. And your vision for your life today, is bringing you what you will manifest in the future. When you manifested your present reality, it was what you thought you deserved. If you like it very much, say, feel or think, thank You!
If there are some things about it that you’d like to change about the way your life is right now, say, think or feel, “show me the Way”. Feel your deep gratitude even for the things that you want to change. They are also there as gifts for you. Breathe deeply into your gratitude. Smile into your heart with love and gratitude for yourself, your life, ALL you have manifested, all the storms you’ve weathered. Say quietly or silently, think, and feel, Thank You, Father, please show me the Way. Amen.
Chapter 2:
The Powerful Law of Attraction
There is a very powerful motivation to focus on the positive and higher vibrational emotions. It’s the immutable and absolute Law of Attraction, which is eternally operating in the ethers; attracting the vibrational match to your thoughts and emotions in the form of experiences, more thoughts, results, relationships, opportunities, and more. In many respects, the Law of Attraction can seem like magic or amazing coincidence. In reality, it’s alchemy. The coming together of thought and inspired action, based on intuition and guidance. I like to call it the Magic Stream. It’s when things going your way feels about as easy as taking the next step and breathing the next breath.
As much as we learn and practice the powerful Law of Attraction and the perception that everything that happens to us is perfect and for the highest and best good, there will be times when we get knocked down and need to climb back up, relax fully into trust, and dive back into the Magic Stream.
Exercise 2: Diving Into the Magic Stream
Go back and remember a time when it felt like everything was going your way. Recall the sights, sounds, aromas, sensations, and emotions. Remember how in-tune you felt with your intuition. Remember the Spiritual Satisfaction of everything turning out perfectly, just the way you envisioned it, almost effortlessly, just the way you knew it would. Feel the Lightness of Being that this way of thinking and feeling brings.
Now, remember a time when you felt frustrated, abused, or like a failure. Overlay your previous sensations of Spiritual Satisfaction onto this less comforting memory. Recall the negative experience, and imagine that although you may not have perceived at the time, things were totally going your way the whole time, and working out in the best possible way for you. Every aspect of the experience, perceived negatively at the time, was really perfect, because now, thinking about it, you can see and feel how each step you took along the way got you to where you are today. You came through every experience stronger, knowing better what you wanted. Overlay the good feelings that you are feeling now over your memory of the negative experience. Just as those experiences were working out for you perfectly, so is your present situation working out perfectly for you now, better than you could even have imagined. The practice of believing this is what I call Deliberate Trust. I believe Deliberate Trust is what God wants us to practice for our own wellbeing. It is the rhythm of our heart.
Take a moment and breathe more deeply into the feeling of gratitude, and say to yourself silently or write the mantras:
“Everything I want and need is coming to me”.
“Everything always works out for me”.
“The Universe is always supporting me in my highest, unlimited vision for my life”.
“Everything I have asked for is coming to me, easily and effortlessly.”
“Thank You, Father, Angels, Ancestors and Spirit Guides, and all who love and protect me and my loved ones. Thank You. Amen”
Chapter 3:Manifesting Our Vision |
The good news is, if you’re reading this book, you ARE ready to manifest your vision. You don’t need a savior! You ARE the hero that you have been looking for.
To cultivate your inner power, the most important skill that you need to begin is the ability to sit still and listen, for the subtle clues from the Universe. You must develop clarity and skill in interpreting and following messages from the Universe, without fear and doubt, and build confidence in following the nuance of your own inspired vision.
We are all able to hear our Inner Voice, but like any natural gift, it must be cultivated and fully appreciated to be realized. We must learn to completely surrender into the Present Moment, letting go of our worrying thoughts about the past or the future. It is only in the Present Moment, that we are able to distill and feel those higher vibrational emotions of joy and happiness. These positive emotions are the gateways and guideposts of our intuition and the essence of what makes us happy. Spiritual teaching tells us, that God wants us to be happy, prosperous, and successful. Essentially, God just wants us to relax!
In order to cultivate our clairvoyant abilities, to help us connect with the esoteric and multi-dimensional communication from the Universe, we need to create the space for reflection, especially in nature or a quiet space, asking questions and waiting for the answers. In order to carve this necessary and fruitful time out, we may need to change some minor or even major aspects of our life.
A spiritual teacher once said, that the best thing that can happen to a person, is for their lives to blow up to such an extent, that there is absolutely no way of putting it back together in the same way. It’s a structural shift. This is for some people, the only viable catalyst for real change in their lives. Sometimes, the only way to change anything is to change everything.
There may not be baby steps on this path, but only wide, major leaps into the unknown. This can be scary, but on the other hand, there is nothing scarier than sleepwalking through life and never finding our passion and what really lights us up.
For many of us, the problems began with hearing so much of other peoples’ voices in our heads, our own inspired vision gets cloudy or drowned out. First, we heard our parents’ voices. “Don’t do this. Do that. “. Initially, we resist these statements that go against our natural instincts, but by the time we’re adults, we’re programmed with so many conditional, judgmental, limiting beliefs, that it can be hard to remember what our own opinions were in the first place.
Eventually our own negative self-talk takes over. John Randolph Price referred to this as the Race Mind- Programmed conditional thoughts -which are so prevalent, that they begin to appear and sound as if they are the voice of the masses, and our own inner voice. This “mental noise” drowns out the one, most important voice we need to hear and give credence. Our own powerful internal, intuitive guidance.
These other “voices in our heads”, combined with our own mind’s prejudices, unconscious self-imposed limitations and negative belief systems, can sometimes make us feel crazy, lower our energetic vibration and make it more difficult for us to connect with ourselves in the Present Moment. Being in the Present Moment, connected with this positive stream of energy, independent of the past or the future, aligns us with our Divine Inner Spirit, and is full of hope, bliss and positive expectation.
The cacophony of these other “voices in our head”, makes it difficult to harness the power of the higher spiritual frequencies, and the Law of Attraction, which is constantly responding not only to what we’re saying, but to what we’re thinking, feeling and unconsciously broadcasting to the Universe. With quiet daily reflection on your results, you are better able to gain clarity, and notice any disparity between “what you’re putting out there”, and what you really want.
God, Angels and our Spirit Guides are working with us throughout our lives and communicating with us through signs, symbols, coincidence and other subtle energies. We need to turn down the mental noise, and turn up the silence, so we can better tune into and interpret these subtle frequencies of energy, signs, symbols, and communication.
To better hear our Inner Voice, our innate spiritual guidance, we must first become internally quiet through a daily practice of prayer and meditation. Eventually, self-doubt begins to subside, and we begin to hear, absorb, and trust this communication from the Divine Spirit within.
These high spiritual frequencies are communicating with us through their own esoteric language that we can begin to attune to. They present us with solutions through revelation or the realization of some profound Truth. Another way to view it is the development of our understanding of Self and the mystical, magical nature of the Universe and God; a Spiritual Intelligence.
Revelation comes from deep within the quiet of your mind, spontaneously, out of the void. This is the nature of inspiration. It cannot be called up, and can easily be a trick of mind or of ego. It takes a developed mastery to begin to be aware of, and to recognize yield the power of this Awakened State of Consciousness. Anyone who has ever seen the Sorcerers’ Apprentice knows there may only be a small degree of difference between genius and insanity.
Awakened Consciousness can appear in an instant, but only if you are patient enough to wait forever, and be totally unattached to anything happening at all. In a sense, you have to be there to get there, and at the same time, be totally unattached to both being there and getting there.
One aim of this book is to define the nature of trust which constitutes faith and a direct relationship with God and the Inner Presence. I call this Deliberate Trust. It is a way of proving your faith by living according to Spiritual Law, and noticing the miraculous results. The results prove that the practice of applying faith deliberately to our choices, thoughts, words, and actions is the correct path.
Trust in God is believing before seeing. Trust means believing, without knowing for sure, that when you make your next leap, that the ground will rise up to meet you beneath your feet.
Poem #1:
God, You Granted Me this Day
God, you granted me this day,
And I will try in every way,
To be as kind as I can be,
To those who pass in front of me.
I may see my ego rise,
The part of me I don’t despise,
The part that’s maybe not so wise,
Still flailing past, so many times.
Spirit, pray please make me whole,
Let me sit upon my throne,
Let each wish be fulfilled at once,
Let stupid men be made the dunce.
No more lord and master, slave,
Let me be the One who’s saved.
Saved for what, to lend a hand,
And so to help my fellow man,
So I ask Your help again,
Upon my knees I take my stand,
And pray to be made whole again.
Chapter 4:
Healing Through Intention
In terms of your healing process, there is nothing more important than your powerful intention and clarity of vision.
A friend of mine once wrote a book called, “All healing comes through God”. Many people who achieve their dreams and visions share that there was no way they could have planned or anticipated the steps along their journey that brought them to their particular “miracle”. When things are flowing in the “magic stream”, they seem organic, perfect, and sometimes mystical.
We have no way of knowing how the Law of Attraction will serve up our vision, but we have to be open to it all. Responding to your intention, intuition and spiritual guidance, you may overhear a conversation that leads you to a book with needed information which may fall off of a shelf and hit you on the head. A suggestion from a friend from ten years ago may suddenly pop into your mind. A lingering thought might suggest a direction. Coincidence. These are some of the subtle and sometimes not so subtle ways the Law of Attraction leads you toward the fulfillment of your vision.
Mastering your perception of whether it is fear, ego or Spirit guiding your actions can be tricky. Your emotions can be a conduit to Spirit, and they can also be a powerful, motivational force. Our natural instinct to seek pleasure and avoid pain, if allowed free rein, may guide us to a life of indolence and waste. We need to remain excited about the possibilities to stoke creative vision and inspired action.
Free will, which gives you the choice, in every moment, of whether or not to be aware of the innate Presence of God within you, and make positive choices which move you toward your own brand of spiritual fulfillment. We are held accountable, not for whether or not we believe in God, but for our actions, choices and moral integrity throughout our lifetime. God’s love for us is unconditional and free of judgement. From philanthropist to thief, from mother to murderer, we are ALL his children, and divinely blessed. However, we each have our own unique path, with which we are most aligned, and to which we are best to remain true.
Stillness and meditation are key to experiencing the revelations that move you forward toward your spiritual goals. Constantly asking for help in prayer, moving forward slowly with plenty of time for reflection and the sincere expression of gratitude to God and your angels, and Spirit Guides for all of your many blessings, along with your fully committed intention will most quickly move you forward on your path of personal and spiritual evolution.
Never doubt, if you are following these steps, that you are moving forward. God works in mysterious ways, so follow these steps, stand back and watch the miracles occur.
Exercise: Make a list of 40 miracles you’d like to manifest. Be sure to set your goals at the outset from a space of unlimited possibility, including those dreams that you consider to be way beyond your reach. What you’re most passionate about, will find a way to manifest. As you go along each day, notice your daily miracles, expressing gratitude, and giving praise, as you check the miracles off your list as accomplished, or superfluous to your truest heart’s desire.
Continuously remind yourself of the goals on your list through visual boards, daily review, memory cues, and daily meditation and prayer. Visualize and feel the energy of them as already accomplished. Create the complete scenario in your mind of the experience of accomplishing these goals, and what you would do with this success, especially during the next 12 months. This is your shopping list for the Universe, so it needs to be really clear. It is also your map and guide. If something is distracting you, and taking up alot of your time, for instance, and appears nowhere on this list, and you realize you don’t want to add it, scratch it off your calendar, stop wasting your time, and get back on your path.
How can God and the Universe supply you in an unlimited fashion exactly what you wish for if you scarcely make these wishes known, not even to yourself?
A shopping list of your intended miracles, is a continuous reminder, both to yourself and the Universe of exactly what you’re here for, what lights you up, and what you came here to do.
Chapter 3:
Nirvana (Bliss) is Yin Yang
In spite of your committed intention, clarity of vision and powerful techniques you are using to manifest your vision, there will be roadblocks, obstacles, distractions, apparent setbacks and pain along the way to achieving your goals. It’s almost never a straight line, and if it is, it’s bound to get zig-zaggy at some point.
Whatever your journey, know that without darkness, there’s no light. Without pain, no healing. Without sadness, we may not even be able to fully recognize and embody joy.
The very nature of our lives lends itself to grief. Our first experience of tragedy is birth, when we are somewhat rudely and often sloppily wrenched from the warmth and security of our mothers’ womb, where our consciousness was still one with God’s, abruptly into the world of pain and separation.
As we grow, like the Buddha, we become awakened into the pain of this world. War, starvation, holocaust, are all within the power of humanity to both create and put to an end, given the proper collective consciousness, and yet, we haven’t seemed to be able to accomplish the latter, at least in the history we are taught. Suffering to some extent, at least according to how things are, seems to be part of the collective karma of humanity. However, if we are to accept the Higher Truth of the Consciousness of God in Everything, then we must also accept the innate perfection of all results. Not that all human actions are perfect and shouldn’t be considered, evolved and transformed, but we need to let go of our attachment to our own interpretations and even our own opinions about how things should turn out, and accept that things ARE perfect as they are; and that we are individually and collectively being guided toward the fulfillment of our vision, and our highest and best good.
As we begin to understand the impermanence of life, bliss, joy, even silence and relaxation, we experience the pain of letting go of our attachments, judgments, and opinions and begin to be the Observer. We turn our focus inward, as the Buddha did, and try to understand ourselves and God at the deepest levels.
To know ourselves, to connect with the Inner Presence, the light of God that lives within each one of us, is to begin to understand our own failings as human beings. But it is also the beginning of wisdom and connection to the unlimited Source of abundance, prosperity and peace of mind that accompanies this inner journey. Within this intimate Knowledge of ourselves, we find our profound capacity for love and forgiveness. In this way, we can begin to fathom the Creator, and see ourselves as Beings of Light and Conscious Creation.
The Heroes’ journey to One-ness with Self and Source is fraught with Devil’s Play, peril and pain, mixed with and greatly overshadowed by the moments of joy, bliss, magic and miracles that make up our daily life. By training our focus on our miracles and gratitude for every great thing we have manifested in our life, even the things we want to change, (they’re there for a reason, too) and asking for Divine Guidance on the journey, we begin to notice and more fully understand how powerful our thoughts are in creating our reality on a daily basis.
We can choose to focus on the beauty of nature, or a pile of poop in the corner. Notice the emotional and energetic frequencies associated with each. We can choose to think about negative experiences from the past or instead choose to think about what great things we would like to manifest today, tomorrow and beyond.
Daily prayer and meditation help us to train mind to not attach to the negative or positive thoughts or past experiences, and become fully present in the moment. By experiencing ourself daily in this relaxed State of Oneness, we can begin to notice more quickly when we are off our center. Our breath and heartbeat, which naturally slow down during meditation, can remind us of the gulf between being present and being in an unbalanced emotional state. Slowing down and becoming conscious of our breathing can then help us return to a relaxed state more quickly, especially when accompanied by a prayer or meditation. In this way it is possible and easier to remain in a relaxed, balanced state in the present moment.
When you’re dealing with an illness or injury or trying to achieve a goal, there usually is no shortage of advice and ideas from different people and places about how you should proceed. Resolve at once to go inside and connect with the Master within. Our Inner Voice, the Inner Presence of God, Christ, Buddha, Mother Mary,Angels, Spirit Guides are always there for us when we get quiet enough inside our mind to hear them. They are always here with us, knowing, caring. Always forgiving, never judging, they are wishing for us what we wish for ourselves. Consider them as you would your teammates and coaches, completely invested in your success. Remember to turn off the media, the podcasts, the radio, t.v., conversation. Stop doing everything as much as you can, other than paying attention to this constant stream of wisdom and prosperity. throughout your day, give yourself the space to get quiet, in order to hear this inner wisdom.
Exercise: Find a tree or some other quiet place, preferably in nature, and curl up with these Spiritual energies. Let yourself hear them in the silence of your mind, and allow the healing that this quiet energy brings. Feel these subtle energies in the wind, and allow them to guide you on your healing journey. Never doubt, only ask for the help you need, knowing in your heart, it is granted as soon as requested.
Poem #2:
Cathedral Tree
There’s no cathedral like a tree,
To help me get away from me,
And see the things I need to see.
High above in cloudless sky,
I see the Master’s face and I,
For a moment like a bird,
Am sailing high above this world.
My belt undone, my flag unfurled,
No longer just a little girl,
But master of my own sweet world.
There above the line of trees,
I hear the Master’s words with ease,
And clasp my hands and ask God, please,
Let me see forest through these trees.
There’s Higher Truth, there’s greater cause,
It isn’t always Santa Clause,
Still, it’s worthy of applause.
Chapter 4:
Ebbing and Flowing, the Yin and the Yang
God and healing are One and the same; they exist in every cell.
During your healing journey, trust is the most powerful and essential component. Without TRUST, we live in fear and doubt. It is the through spiritual nature of Trust, as an act of faith and practice that we are able to enter fully into in the Present Moment. This level of faith can be accessed and experienced through our direct relationship with Source and the Divine Inner Presence.
Imagine for a second that you’re a heart patient, hooked up to a monitor allowing you to hear your heartbeat, and see it blipping by on a screen. Imagine that instead of feeling comforted by the sound of your own heartbeat, you lay in horror, terrified that after each beat, the next one won’t come. A fearful experience of life, indeed.
Now imagine that your heartbeat is God. You decide to trust that each heartbeat will be followed by the next, and so you are able to relax into the Present Moment. You relish being alive, your relative comfort, and all of your blessings. As you contemplate this reality, you breathe deeply with gratitude and relax comfortably into your soft, safe bed, no longer in fear, but in bliss.
As we contemplate these alternative versions of the same scenario, we can see that our experience of life is very much a matter of our perception. Either we are looking through a lens of fear and doubt, or through one of trust and the absence of the Illusion of the Separation (the mistaken belief that we are somehow a separate entity, or apart from the Source of our Creation). When we come to realize that there is no separation between our Divine Inner Presence, and God, the Creator of the Universe, we can become more attuned and aligned with this Creative Energy. We are part of this energy, and it lives within each of us. We can choose to put our focus on becoming more aligned with this Spiritual guidance, or resist it to our own discomfort.
The Illusion of Separation helps us to forget our God-like nature. We forget that we are meant to embody peace, love and unconditional forgiveness, all of which are synonymous with God. We forget charity, hope and kindness all because we lack trust and instead invest our energy in our limited beliefs, fears, and negative thoughts.
When we lack trust, we live in fear, unhappiness and uncertainty. To trust that you will be with God, your loved Ones, angels and Spirit guides when you die is to lose your fear of death. We begin to see death as another aspect of life, another energetic experience, rather than the end of ourselves and something to fear. To become One with the Inner Presence in this way, is also to become awakened to the great gift that is your human life.
On this Hero’s Journey, there is resistance, acceptance, pain bliss, surrender, and personal power. There is humility and arrogance. There is ego, and if you’re very lucky and committed to your path, moments of bliss and One-ness with Source.
Becoming aware that in each moment, the only savior from the Race Mind is to connect with Divine consciousness, and recognizing God as the only Source of our contentment and empowerment; can save us from blindly flailing away in ego. Thank God for humility, peace and centered-ness in the Now, whenever it occurs to you!
Chapter 5:
Healing Through Bliss and Divine Consciousness
Healing and bliss occur together naturally, so when you’re seeking one, the other has got be going on, too. Bliss hits us on all of our senses, and so does healing.
The energetic, emotional experience of the God Presence within us is bliss. Healing occurs in the Presence of bliss and release, and the experience of healing brings us to One-ness with God or Christ Consciousness. In that moment of enlightenment, we are One with the energy of God, Christ and the spiritual realm. This is not the Christ of the Jesus of Nazareth story, but the Christ Energy, which is the embodiment of love and healing. Edgar Cayce described this Christ consciousness as “the awareness within each soul, imprinted in pattern on the mind and waiting to be awakened by the will, of the soul’s oneness with God”. Christ consciousness is essentially another term for enlightenment.
According to the teaching’s of Patanjali, Christ consciousness is Samadhi, a profound connection to the Divine, an interconnectedness with all living things. With this realization comes the “peace that passeth all understanding”; the experience of bliss and being at one with the Universe.
This instant where bliss meets insight is a glimpse into ascension. Letting yourself relax into a peaceful, blissful state, open and receptive state, the required state for prayer and meditation, helps us to understand the consciousness required for healing and manifesting our vision.
It is far easier to develop a practice of recognizing, fostering and attaining the consciousness of healing than to specifically determine the steps of your healing journey. God knows better than you. Let the Intelligence of the Universe determine the steps you should take. Your only job is to relax, and connect daily with the flow of radiating creative energy that exists in the Universe, that is Its flow; and not there for you to control, manipulate or possess, but to access and ride the flow. It is your Divine Right to abundant prosperity, radiant health and good fortune.
Through daily practice of meditation and the conscious practice of prayer, gratitude, generous, positive thoughts of the future and letting go of the past, we become more familiar with the consciousness of healing and simultaneously, of bliss. It’s a body, mind experience, facilitated with the emotions. It does not occur in a vacuum, but in an airy, free, energetic space which allows for creative self-expression, rest, relaxation, and spiritual connection. This cannot normally occur in a crowd, unless, as in an ashram or collective meditation, where everyone is on the same page. This then magnifies the energy geometrically.
This daily recognition and consciousness that you are part of a vast, unfathomable, loving, Intelligence that is called God, is what connects you to your Divine Heritage as an equal part of all that has ever been created or ever existed. As you are equal with everyone who has ever existed, you are also as important as anyone who has ever existed and as responsible as anyone who has ever existed for the Consciousness that you carry with you throughout the day, and how it affects others.
We live within this Intelligence, and this Intelligence lives within us. We perceive things through the filter of our own consciousness that we create with our thoughts, attitudes, words and deeds. This Divine Inner Presence is the part of you that IS You. Beyond personality and ego, it is the residing, presiding and abiding eternal You, on a soul’s journey this lifetime as… you. The personality that you are. This particular persona will eventually pass over, but the soul is eternal, and here to fully express and experience all that you are meant to experience in this lifetime.
Being in a state of full awareness of the Divine Presence in the Present Moment honors Spirit for each moment of life as a great gift. Never underestimate the value of each and every experience you are given to have throughout your life. As you begin a daily practice of acknowledging both the Divine Inner Presence, and the great gift of each moment, never doubt that with your clarity of purpose and the fullness of your intention, you are manifesting your vision.
Imbue your vision with the consciousness of Bliss as you imagine it to be with the best of your knowledge and awareness. Now, you are fully present to the consciousness of bliss and healing, and to the promise of the Presence of the Divine Spirit within you.
Healing is not uncomfortable, hard, or painful, though the letting go process may be. When you have fully surrendered, into the Present Moment, and accepted that God is eternally present, even pain can be a form of bliss, reminding you that you’re alive to feel, and to move forward in your life.
You are guided to healing by Spirit. You’ll begin to recognize these opportunities as they have their own special glow. Things may not always work out as you plan. See the value in every experience. Surrender even to your inevitable death, which may be considered as the ultimate healing, when you become again, completely at One with God, moving forward on your path of spiritual evolution.
There may be no doubt that soul’s reincarnate, and in future lifetimes become Spirit Guides or angels, returning to a Sea of Consciousness that is One with God; but this is not for us to know. Only God is omniscient, only God knows all. Way beyond our ability to fathom is this level of love and Intelligence. Everything can be explained, except God. Ironically, all that can really be understood of God is that He is unfathomable, and beyond our understanding.
Throughout your healing process, endeavors must be made on all levels to connect with the Divine Spirit within you. This Inner Presence, or Divine Consciousness is the source of all healing, creativity, inspiration and prosperity.
By connecting to this Inner Presence, through meditation, stillness, prayer, our intention, accepting, and relaxing into the Present Moment; we are connecting with the Source of our intuition and Spiritual guidance.
Poem #3:
Conversation with Spirit
Master, Master, hear my prayer.
“How can I when you’re hardly here?
Away inside your mind so far,
You’re far from here, that’s where you are.
Search now, for the silence, hear?
There’s no place left to get, that’s clear.
Still, you’re not, though still, should be,
Remember, like the Master Tree?
Sweet you’ll be when sweet you are,
A seed can’t grow from tree apart,
The fruit and tree are never far.
Shining up, beneath the stars.
Swaying gently in the breeze,
That’s when life is lived with ease.
None to disappoint or please,
Just you down there upon your knees.”
Master, Master, hear me clear,
“Of course, my dear, you’re still, so near.”
What is it, my path to seek?
“The birds, the tree, the buzzing bee,
All that’s sweet reflects on me.”
Master, Master, can I heal?
“Of course you know,
that’s yours to steal.”
Is that when I will know I’m free?
“Exalted heart, on bended knee,
you’ll twinkle as a rhapsody,
You’re free when you’re at One with Me.”
It’s then you’ll know what free can be.
Chapter 6:
Healing Through Emotional Awareness
As you begin to experience profound silence and stillness on a regular basis through prayer and meditation, you improve at both, being better able to extend the silence in your mind and connection with Source for longer and longer periods of time.
You improve at hearing and listening to the Inner Presence, which is always guiding you toward healing, abundance and success in achieving your life’s purpose. You also improve at letting go of the past and your addiction to your particular form of race thought.
Never doubt that no matter what obstacles you encounter that your Spirit is guiding you inexorably toward your vision and what you have purposefully set out for yourself, no matter how lofty.
Remember, trust, the active kind, the deliberate kind, fueled with love, faith and passion is delivering your package and is an essential element of this process.
There is God-Consciousness in everything, in every cell of your body, every organ, muscle and tissue. Pain, illness and disease, even injury are the ways our bodies and unconscious mind communicate with us when seeking our awareness. We ignore our pain at our own peril, but we also invite further pain and peril, add insult to injury so to speak, when we then immediately turn our healing power over to doctors and other healing practitioners, rather than listening to advice from all quarters, and then proceeding calmly and patiently through our own devices.
This is not to say do not seek professional help according to your abilities and intuition. We succeed neither in a vacuum or alone. But, noone can or should make these decisions for you, and they should be made slowly, with confidence and without any pressure.
Through the techniques of this program of trust, prayer and meditation, we’re developing our abilities of awareness of the Present Moment, intentional manifestation, emotional release, unwinding and non-doing. This practice of gratitude and acknowledgement of Source create the conditions for insight, inspiration and connecting with the radiating Creative Energy that is Divine guidance.
By our human nature, each of us are powerful energy healers, who with purposeful awareness and intention can activate our own healing powers to go to work on ourselves. As we refine and distill what works best for us, combining with it our Spiritual Practice of “deliberate trust”, a powerful alchemy of self-healing comes together.
Chapter 7:
Trust
At an advanced stage of your healing process, the realization occurs that self-healing is the art of non-doing, non-attachment and constant recognition of the Spirit within as having dominion over your heart and mind.
Like allowing yourself to fall backwards onto a bed of clouds, being able to trust this process is easy, once you’ve put yourself in a position to do it. Like falling off a log, it’s easy, once you’re on the log.
How is God? Judgemental? No. Forgiving? Yes. Can we be like God in our dealings with one another? Can we learn to trust?
What about dependence? Who does God rely upon? Does God believe in a limited supply? Is He hung up on money? You are the Source of your supply. The Divine Presence within you is your unlimited supply.
Never doubt, that when you are following this program of gratitude, surrender, and being aware of your Divine Inner Presence in the Present Moment, that you are moving toward whatever goal you have set for yourself, in cooperation with your intention, listening to your intuition, action and Divine Spiritual Guidance.
Poem #4:
Mom is Om
Within the name of Mom, there’s “om”,
A peaceful place for you to own.
A place for you to know as home.
Inside her face the face of God,
Someone to depend upon,
Mom is there for when there’s pain,
She smiles and then you’re fine again,
Like you found a long lost friend.
Mom is always there for you,
A helping hand to see you through,
Those darkest days and lonely nights,
To chase away the ghosts and frights,
We all have moms, this much is true,
She gave the biggest gift to you,
The life you have, the life you’ve led,
And whether she’s alive or dead,
Her love will never die for you,
a mother’s love is never through.
Chapter 8:
Desire
On the spiritual path, with so much talk of surrender and acceptance and being in the Present Moment, the question seems to always come up, what about desire? If our desires make us unhappy in the absence of their fulfillment, then why even have them? We’re supposed to let go of attachment, But, if we didn’t have our unique desires, then who would we be?
As children before God, we can’t really know what we want. We only know what we think we want that we believe will make us happy. So often we achieve a goal, only to find it doesn’t bring us the fulfillment we were looking for. Often, it’s simply the act of wanting something and then receiving it which is so satisfactory. The thing itself becomes irrelevant; simply getting what you want or achieving a desired outcome is really what’s bringing the satisfaction.
Wanting, needing, and appreciating nothing more than what is happening exactly in the Present Moment then becomes an exercise in experiencing immediately in every moment the satisfaction of “getting what you want”. You want, what is!! Therefore, you have no needs or unfulfilled desires. By definition, by adopting this practice, you are immediately fulfilled.
The practice of knowing, in the Present Moment, that you have everything you need to fulfill all your goals, dreams and desires already at your disposal, is the Practice of Deliberate Trust. This practice involves also aknowledging gratitude and appreciation of God, who is constantly supplying you with everything you need. No wish is expressed which is not granted on the spiritual path. So be careful what you wish for… karma is a bitch.
This practice of Deliberate Trust grants you immediate fulfillment and the absence of desire.
Counting your blessings should be more than an aphorism, it is a great daily exercise to connect with Source and express gratitude for all of your desires that have already manifested in your life.
When you notice the manifest desires in your life right now, you’ll notice that they came into being not through frustration, lack consciousness or banging your head against the wall, but mostly from your following through, expressing some passion, your commitment to succeeding, following your intuition, or sometimes just “good fortune”; being in the right place at the right time. This is how the magic happens.
Being committed to something isn’t the same as having a goal or desire, but the differences are subtle. You can make visual boards, write, think about and pursue that which you are committed to and passionate about, but the more important aspect of your job is to be really clear, both within yourself and externally, about exactly what these commitments and passions are for you.
Your clarity of vision and committed action is vastly more important than any material goal or minor achievement.
This clarity can only be gained through prayer and meditation and developing the practice of listening to your Inner Voice for guidance and divine inspiration. As Paramahansa Yogananda said, “prayer is talking to God, meditation is listening.” You must do both daily if you want the blissful experience only available when you are fully entered into and invested in the Present Moment. This is the place of revelation, inner peace, and connection to Source.
Chapter 9:
What Are We Healing For, What are We Healing From?
By far the most powerful healing that we can experience is through the process of letting go, self-realization and the expansion of consciousness. Within our muscle memory lies the remembrance of perfect radiant health. Within our consciousness lies the possibility of enlightenment and the experience of the Buddha or Oneness with Source.
Within each of us is the perfection of a tree grown from a seed. We are the seed, the tree is God. Within every cell of our body is the Consciousness of God.
Before we are born, we are One with this Essence, and again upon our death. Even as our consciousness tries to expand to include God, our egos reflect the parts of ourselves that we still have yet to process, showing up as fear, anger, self-doubt, and low self-esteem.
If we then remember that God just wants us to relax, and accept that things are perfect, a difficult task, especially when times seem tough and problematic. When we can begin to unwind and release our attachments to everything, including even our own lives or the lives of our loved ones, then we are beginning to accept the true nature of the Universe. That it is God’s perfect world, and we are a part of that.
Do no harm. Try to do good. Do art. Honor Spirit, Music, laughter. Enjoy all gifts from God and the Divine Consciousness that you Are.
Poem #5:
Relax, Relax
Relax, relax,
God just wants you to relax.
It’s not hard just let down your guard
God just wants us to relax.
Give praise, give praise.
God, just wants you to give praise.
It’s not hard to honor Spirit
God, just wants us to give praise.
Reflect, reflect
God, just wants you to reflect,
It’s not hard just sit down, go lie down,
God just wants us to reflect.
Relax, relax,
God just wants you to relax,
It’s a must you must learn to trust,
God, just wants us to relax.
Be free, be free
God just wants you to be free,
It’s not hard to be, just free
God just wants us to be free.
Be love be love
God just wants you to be love,
It’s not hard with help from above,
God just wants us to be love.
Rejoice, rejoice,
God just wants you to rejoice,
It’s not hard, it’s just a choice,
God just wants us to rejoice.
Relax, relax,
God just wants you to relax,
It’s a must we must learn to trust,
God just wants us to relax.
Chapter 10:
Healing and the Emotions
Without going into the emotions and connecting to your true feelings in regard to your current condition, (whether it be physical, emotional, spiritual or financial condition) you are not truly moving forward in your healing process, for it is the emotional energy which acts as a conduit, opening up the energetic frequencies that connect you to Spirit, God and the Inner Presence.
This is where Truth is heard, spoken and either accepted and acted upon, or denied. This choice, of acceptance or denial, and how we respond to the destiny of our life, is by definition, free will.
If we deny the truth, the result at some point, either now or in the future, will be feeling stuck or blocked in the healing process. If there’s anger, go into it. Sadness, grief, feelings of unworthiness and alienation are beneath it. This alienation is related to the Original Separation we experience at birth, when we are abruptly thrust from the sweet comfort of the Spiritual Realm, into the rude awakening which is life on earth.
Like everything from God, life is a great gift as long as you remember it is what you asked for, longed for, prayed for, strived for, wanted, and granted by God. So now that we’re here, what will we choose to do with it? Remain in suffering? Allow our minds to dwell in pain, problems and confusion? Or, should we focus our attention on miracles, and what we originally came here to create?
Chapter 11:
Unwinding your Condition
What condition is your condition in?
A part of healing is unwinding and figuring out the consciousness that got you into your present condition in the first place, so you can better remove yourself from those negative or harmful energetic frequencies of thought and behavior. This is a key and essential element of the healing process.
Even if you have a tumor removed, a hip replaced, or take antibiotics for an infection, you will still need to identify and go to the core of your illness or injury, or you risk returning to the same dynamics and frequencies of energy and habitual patterns that got your there in the first place.
Trying to recall your emotional state, habits and thought processes in the days, weeks months and even years leading up to the discovery or manifestation of your illness is an invaluable form of recapitulation. In order to heal yourself and prevent a recurrence, you must examine and transform your emotional vibration, compulsive thought patterns and destructive behaviors, including negative thoughts and intentions, or your illness, injury or condition may reappear or manifest in a different form.
So how did your condition get in the condition your condition is in? Was there a lack of consciousness? Unresolved emotional issues? Negative thoughts? Anger, fear, anxiety? Feelings of unworthiness? Repeated exposure to a negative situation?
Chronic and life-threatening conditions do not come from nowhere. They manifest as a result of unconscious behaviors, lack of connection to truth and self-empowerment, denial, chronic negative thinking, or some lack of awareness. If you don’t feel like you’re living your dream life right now, in radiance and success, it is most likely due to one of these limiting factors. Sometimes, when we are ill, we need to lay down on the ground, like a wounded deer. It is difficult for people to take responsibility for their own illness, but, any major illness requires a deep inward investigation. It may lead you to an outer investigation. You may be guided to learn of environmental causes, or natural remedies. But you need to get there to be there. Clarity is needed, trust, relaxation, patience and a positive attitude. Even then, only God knows when or why we die. So, as long as we’re here, let’s go ahead and heal.
If you’re reading this, you’re already a lot healthier as a result of this awareness, understanding and knowledge. It means you have the strength and support of the Universe to be personally seeking your own healing, which means you are taking responsibility for your own revitalization.
Watch your negative thoughts and denial, and regularly practice gratitude, thinking positively, and praying daily for Spiritual Guidance, patience and forgiveness.
Identify the ember that exists of your radiance, self-confidence, joy, perfect health and vitality. Build on this ember until the flame of your personal vision of perfect health and happiness is fully restored and burning as a giant flame at the center of your existence.
*This is not applicable in cases involving babies, small children, mentally incapacitated individuals.
Chapter 12:
The Path to Self-Healing
The path to self-healing is like an intricate web you are weaving through intention, trust, love, surrender, inner peace, and daily prayer and meditation. Lose the thread of any of these components and you may soon feel out of balance, or as if everything you’ve been building through your intention and focus is suddenly like a castle in the sand, collapsing, falling apart, and caving in on itself.
The practice becomes to pick up these threads where they lay as soon as you re-awaken into the awareness of your Inner Presence. This awareness has the power to restore your forward momentum, and anything lost is regained. In this way, nothing is ever lost. Since everything is attracted to you through consciousness, once you resume the consciousness that brought you a thing in the first place, you will once again attract it.
Your intention will keep you shucking oysters until you manifest the pearl that is your miracle or ultimate goal and beyond. Your intention, combined with trust in your innate creative abilities and listening and giving space to your Spiritual Guidance will inexorably move you toward your manifestation. Daily meditation and prayer will help bring you clarity of vision. Then, trust, and empower your intuition. It’s ok if you’re wrong sometimes. Keep working with it.
Don’t try to force anything. Only keep chipping away, like a sculptor, at what is unnecessary and superfluous to your highest vision. As these unneeded pieces drop away, what remains is your masterpiece.
Poem #6:
Wildflowers Need a Place to Grow
In a room, can’t think, can’t feel
And this is what they say is real?
Lights so bright and music loud
My head feels like a mushroom cloud.
So this is what I’ve come to know,
Wildflowers need a place to grow.
They can’t live in a vase or pot
Like some sweet forget-me-not,
They need the earth, soft rain, sun hot,
They need the light, they need their spot.
Colors bold and bright and true
They don’t need rules, they like their view,
There’s plenty and they’ll share with you.
All their glory, love so free
Tethered not to rock or tree,
Hey, it kind of sounds like me.
Chapter 13:
Recapitulation
One effective tool to access the emotional energy is known as recapitulation. This assists with the part of the self-healing process which is an unwinding, letting go, releasing, and helping to restore your cells to their memory of perfect health.
You must return and be brutally honest with yourself about where the devil began. When did you first begin to notice things going wrong? Where were you? What were you doing? What was going on in your life at the time?
Remember the small cues, clues and red flags that you chose to ignore in that moment, but if you think about it, now, you can bring them up in your mind. Feel even now, where you are still unconsciously holding on to blocked energy and negative thoughts in your body and mind.
Recapitulation requires a great deal of quiet time and reflection. Allow the memories to come up as you track your illness, issue or injury back in time to its inception and beyond. Track your dreams and pay attention to signs, symbols and subtle messages from Spirit. Honor Spirit by giving this important practice the time and energy it requires.
As the emotions arise, guilt, shame, anger, fear, allow them to fully inhabit you. Pray for forgiveness, pray for help. Pray to be shown the way. Know that there is no way out but through.
Once you are embedded onto your spiritual path, there is no turning back, however, you can take comfort and have confidence and never doubt that EVERYTHING that happens to you, for you and around you is the result of your vision, clarity of purpose and intention, and is moving your forward perfectly on your path of personal and spiritual evolution.
As you give time to reflect upon your day and your emotional state, do you like what you’re experiencing? Say Thank You! Something you’d like to change? Ask for help.
Certain somatic, emotional release therapies are successful at helping a person rekindle these repressed emotional memories as they are stored in the body as blocked energy and as negative, unwanted patterns in the subconscious mind.
Through meditation, learning to hear and listen to that inner voice, we are able to receive subtle messages through dreams, coincidences, signs, symbols and signals that we pick up on and notice along the way.
Never doubt, that as you are studying and practicing these Principles of Abundance, and giving time daily to connect with and acknowledge your Inner Presence, that you ARE, manifesting Divine Unlimited Abundance, which is the God within, which is you, guided and protected by Spirit.
Guided by Spirit, you can never go wrong, no matter what you might think. When you are with God, God is with you. Literally, you cannot make a mistake or take a wrong turn, so don’t believe that you can, no matter how it may seem. Everything you experience is for the evolution of your soul. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and sometimes, what does kill you makes you stronger, too. Remember, you don’t have God’s vantage point… not even close. According to Universal Law, you are exactly where you are supposed to be, right now in the Present Moment, so honor it, rejoice, and listen to and become aware of the messages and personal empowerment that are there for you.
Chapter 14:
The Art and Power of Non-Doing
As you experience some success on your path in terms of manifesting miracles, there may arise a nervousness or an urge to push harder to achieve.
As much as anything, this practice is about the art of non-doing, non-thinking, non-doubting, but also making sure to take the time daily for sweet reflection, meditation, prayer and expression of gratitude for all your many blessings and creative manifestation. In other words, your daily miracles.
Here you find a tiny town to live in. The town of inner peace, reflection and honoring Spirit. Everything in this small space, individualized by your person, is perfect in this Present Moment. There is nothing you need to do because as you are following this practice of daily reflection, meditation and prayer, all your intentions that are unselfish and promoting of light are being realized. You have no needs or unfulfilled desires. You have found the secret of life, so relax. Relax in the moment and relax in the knowledge of the constant activity of your Divine Mind of infinite prosperity.
Chapter 15:
Only Work
This practice of elevating your relationship with God and the Divine Spirit within to the primary one in your life is “only” work. I use “only”, because it’s a better word than lonely. You’re never alone when you’re walking with God and your Spirit Guides, but there’s no two-sies and three-sies in the game of getting to know God and learning at last to listen to and trust the Divine Inner Spirit.
Never doubt, no matter how things may seem in the Present Moment, that by clearly defining and focusing on the clarity of your vision while practicing the Principles of Abundance, that you are moving toward your vision.
The practice of Deliberate Trust in action means you cannot simply back away from your principles when they become inconvenient. It means sometimes standing your ground, and sometimes surrendering with humility.
Not everyone will agree with you, in fact hardly anyone will. The key is to stay focused on finding and creating the time and space to both speak to and listen to your spiritual guidance in the form of daily prayer and meditation.
Through your focused attention on this practice of releasing judgment of yourself and others, and getting to know the true power and creative abundance of your Divine Inner Spirit, is to finally and at last begin to relax into that Divine Presence, through which you are guided and protected, as you move forward on your path of personal and spiritual evolution.
Chapter 16:
The Courage to Create Your Life
Deliberate trust is the true nature of faith. It is believing first, then seeing. It is seeing the steps in our mind, and knowing without doubt, that through God, Spiritual Guidance and our committed intention, the resources we need to manifest our vision will be there. This is Conscious Creation out of our vision and empowered positive intention.
We hear alot in our world today about creating our own reality and designing our life. And some people seem so good at it. But you can’t always judge a book by its cover. Someone may seem to have the perfect life, but if they cannot find inner peace, or have to hold on so tightly to control that they cannot even fathom the idea of freedom or unattachment from their money and possessions; if they aren’t seeking One-ness with God and their Divine Inner Spirit, then rather than being in balance, they have merely found a manner of coping, and are not fully living in their fulfilled state. Something somewhere is out of balance.
As you continue on your spiritual path, you may come to realize, as many others have, that this “hero’s journey” is a lonely one. The top of the mountain has the least amount of room. Standing your ground in your absolute truth is a lonely place to be sometimes. But it is the only place to find the quiet and the silence you need to identify “what is my path”, what is it you came here to do.
As the answer to this question arises and comes more clearly into your consciousness, as your intuition and your guidance continue to lead you to the source of your pain as well as your passion and greatest gifts, you will experience a distilling process, where what is not necessary, a distraction or superfluous to your highest expression, will begin to fall away so quickly that it may appear as if you are losing touch with reality, your world is crumbling around you, or the earth has begun spinning at a different rate of speed.
Your job is to enjoy all of these moments and in this way to honor Spirit during your healing process, and all the gifts you receive daily in all their different forms.
They don’t need it, but God, your angels and Spirit Guides love to hear your praise and gratitude. Look around you at what you have already created and manifested. Honoring yourself and what you accomplish is another way of showing gratitude and honoring God and Spirit. They live within you. They are you, and you, They.
Never doubt that when following these principles you are guided and protected. Never forget why your heart is beating, why you have clean water, a full belly, money in your pocket, a family, friends, and breath in your lungs. God. He put us here, and His Consciousness lives and is alive in everything, and each and every one of us.
Chapter 17:
Surrender and Non-attachment
Remember to maintain a state of surrender and non-attachment as you continue on a daily basis to follow your Divine Inspiration.
Take the focus off of yourself completely. Contemplating your navel isn’t the same as contemplating God.
Contemplating who you are as part of the Divine nature of things, helps you begin to understand God. For progress to be made there must be time set aside daily to honor silence, listen to the Divine Inner Voice, get on bent knee sometimes to pray is even good to praise and express gratitude to God for blessings. As much as you can each day, spread the blessings, think and be love and peace to the greatest extent that you can.
Chapter 18:
The Essence of Self-Healing
At its essence, the path of self-healing must be one of surrender, trust and a commitment to action. It’s a factor of mind and of body.
Surrender is necessary, as well as the art of non-doing, non-effort, which emanate from Deliberate Trust, the conscious act, the choice to practice trust as an active philosophy and spiritual path.
By letting go of your addiction to your need to be right, you open yourself up to new possibilities. Silence, and the practiced ability to be quiet, hear and listen to your Inner Voice, help guide you to the committed actions which move you forward toward the fulfillment of your vision.
Instantaneous fulfillment is derived through recognizing your Inner Voice, the Divine Mind within as your Unlimited Source. In this absence of fear and lack consciousness comes inspiration and Divine Inner guidance. Your ability to recognize the Divine Spirit Within as your abundance, and knowing this light that lives inside you as yourself, is Divine Power through which you begin to understand your Divine Right to prosperity. Through this practice, you will refine your powers of Instantaneous Manifestation through the Law of Attraction, as your energetic frequency begins to correspond directly to that which you intend to manifest.
Regardless of your religious background, a good symbol for total surrender is the omnipresent image of the Christ on the cross. Understanding Christ as the master healer, this image of complete surrender at the time of death or ascension can help us connect with our innate power of the Christ Energy which exists within each one of us as our Divine power to heal ourselves and others. This internal presence, is the matrix for the perfect radiant health we seek. This state of absolute submission to the will of God, even though we each “walk through the valley of the shadow of death”, is the necessary mental attitude of trust and surrender.
Combined with your active committed action, intention, daily reflection, prayer and meditation, this conscious act of free will, the committed practice of Deliberate Trust daily, is moving you toward your prescribed list of miracles, blessings, and bliss.
Enjoy the ride. It’s the only life you get! For now.
Exercise:
Reining in Race Thought
Pay attention and be responsible for your mind and “race thought”. When you notice your mind running off like a herd of wild horses, rein it in. Don’t get dragged along. Refocus your attention on acknowledging God and the Divine Spirit within you.
Rejoice in your small triumphs.
Practice seeing and acknowledging things as perfect just the way they are.
Poem #6:
A Special Kind of Fun
A Special Kind of Fun
Sitting here beneath the sun
I have a special kind of fun.
No toys, no boys, no fancy clothes
I’m hidden here, and no one knows.
With rocks and leaves for company
The breeze is all that speaks to me,
A language clouds can understand,
As they travel over land.
Flowers, trees, they speak it too
They softly whisper, “I love you”.
I wish that you could hear it too.
Softly gently, on my knees,
Hands tightly clasped, I ask God, please,
Show me more of this each day,
As You please, Sir, guide the Way.
The sun beats down but gently so
A longer stay, until I go,
Grants me all I want and need,
Blessed and grateful, I Am, in deed.
Alive We Thrive
Alive we thrive like buzzing bee
Sucking sweetly red and green,
It’s not about what you would think,
More is less of what we need.
Loving more is called the game
You go at your own speed,
Inside it starts with bless-ed heart,
No spite, no hate, no greed.
And then is when you know you’re where,
Your spirit has agreed.
No blame, no shame, no fault no lack,
Nothing left to hold you back.
So long, so far, you’ve come your way
You’ve lived to dance another day.
This world is not perfect, it has its flaws
Chasing perfection’s just another cause.
And effect and around back to perfect,
All in a circle, all always known,
Like a pruned tree, see how we’ve grown?|
Away, apart, we stop, we start,
We’re always in control.
So when we believe and come back to trust,
It’s then that we know that we’re home.
Poem #10:
When You’re Ready to Hear
When you’re ready to hear, you listen
Don’t waste time on regret.
Dwelling on the past, how much further can you get?
From life in the Present Moment
Where everything’s juicy and sweet.
Present Moment’s out of reach,
When this covenant we breach.
Of staying warm beneath the sun,
Sharing love and having fun.
There you may, still, hear His words,
Even whispered by a bird,
Suggested by a falling leaf,
Nothing is beyond belief.
With stillness, beating in your heart,
You know that it’s a place to start,
To listen and to hear the sound,
Thump by thump, the love resounds.
That is what life’s meant to be,
Gratitude and being free,
Sprinkled with humility.
Nothing more but in your mind,
Peace and trust and God you find,
Guiding me, show me the Way,
For clarity on each new day.
Poem #11:
Father, thank You
Father, thank You, is all I can say,
As I look upon this day
All the love you sent my way.
Thanks for those who spent their time,
To talk, to walk or hear a rhyme,
It’s people who make life sublime.
Children, fathers, mothers, sons,
Connect us each to everyone,
If we could only just have fun.
Live in joy, live in peace,
While I’m at it, Father, please,
Grant to me and those I love,
The peace and joy of those above,
Let us all just learn to love.
You gave me now a place of peace,
It seems I have a little lease,
Around this place, I’m known by none,
Still I manage to have fun.
I read, I write, I eat, I sleep,
There isn’t much for me to keep,
Just you safe here in my heart,
You’ve been there from the very start.
These rocks and stones don’t know my name,
Still, they warm me, just the same,
Or cool in shade, or path to grave,
Or maybe take me to be saved.
Poem #12:
You Are Everywhere I Go
Based on my perception,
It may seem I’m far away,
From love, from peace, from knowing God
Is showing me the Way.
If pain can live inside my chest,
It might seem right to me,
If I hadn’t also known,
Joy and ecstasy.
To know this lives inside me too,
Is to also be aware,
That when I finally get to sit,
I always find You there.
Healing heart, healing mind,
When it’s You I seek, I find,
Never, ever pain that’s true,
It’s You that’s real, it’s You that’s new.
Help me be so kind and free,
That my best friend could be a tree,
Help me be so free to know,
That You are everywhere I go!
Poem #13:
Sitting Underneath a Tree
Sitting underneath a tree,
There’s truth in everything you see,
Sky and grass, cloud and rock,
Can all be counted precious stock.
No cause for shame, or blame or fear,
Nothing that will hurt you here.
Safe beneath the leaves and limbs,
You’re forgiven all your sins.
Absolution for your crimes,
No matter that it’s many times.
As many times as asked, received,
As many times received, believed.
To heart you take the wizened words,
Even whispered by a bird,
Let go, release, stop hanging on,
Yourself, you can depend upon.
Swiftly moving like a river,
You’re receiver, sender, giver,
Knowing you’re awake, alive,
There’s nothing you can do, but thrive,
Like working bees around a hive.
But you’re the Queen and worker bee,
The sky the clouds,
The Earth, the tree.
Poem #14:
Deliberate Trust
Cold, not shivering, hot no sweat,
Something says, I’ll get there yet.
A sunny spot, not cold not hot,
Nothing else that I forgot,
Maybe a forget-me-not.
Deliberate Trust, that’s the key,
Every day you speak to me,
Urging me to be so free,
Never would you lie to me.
Deliberate Trust, is a must,
It’s what clearly speaks to me,
Like a branch from a family tree,
I’ll find the light to shine on me.
What’s the depth of my belief?
Is it shaky like a leaf?
How firm does it need to be?
Stronger, closer than I think.
You’re the Kingdom, You’re what’s right,
I sleep within Your arms each night,
Cradled gently, free from fright,
Letting go of all my fight.
Tonight I may be somewhere new,
Somewhere safe, inside of You,
Peace, joy and love will find me,
There’ll be noone there to mind me.
Deliberate Trust, only way to live,
I’ll give it all I’ve got to give,
And when I’m done, I’ll be with You,
And that is all I want to do.
Poem #15:
The Seeds You Sew
As if in a dream, I move through space,
Acknowledging the Master’s place,
I see as well my own disgrace.
Within my heart, around my being,
A part of everything I’m seeing.
Mindful of the pact I’ve made,
A deal that let my soul be saved,
To give it all to God each day,
On knees I ask, show me the Way.
God is good, God is kind,
You’ll have all you need, you’ll find.
All your wishes will be known,
Your harvest comes from seeds you’ve sewn.
